Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
Hi! My name is Ashlen Mitchell and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.
I graduated from Kent State University in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. In 2020, I graduated from Walsh University with a master’s degree in Counseling and Human Development. I have experience working with adolescents, teens, and adults in office and school-based settings.
I help others with identifying and exploring life experiences, underlying factors, and current stressors that impact well-being, and teach healthy ways to process and cope. My approach is personable and compassionate, combining many evidence-based techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and person-centered to make treatment unique to your journey.
I have always had a passion for mental health and helping others, and I am grateful to be in a career that I can do both. I look forward to meeting with you!
